Cherry Capital Airport (TVC)

Location

The airport is situated two miles (4km) southeast of downtown Traverse City.

Getting to the city

Bay Area Transportation Authority (BATA) provides an airport bus service on Route 13, operating regularly between around 7am and 8pm on weekdays, and between around 11am and 7pm on weekends. Bus fare starts at $1.50. Rental cars and taxis are also available.

GMT -5 (GMT -4 from mid-March to the first Sunday in November).

Car hire companies represented at the airport include Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz and National.

Taxi companies servicing the airport include AAA Charlevoix Taxi, Cherry Capital Cab and Chippewa Cab.

The airport is small, but facilities do include gift shops, food and beverage vendors, and public phones.

Parking

Short-term parking costs $1.25 each half hour, up to a daily maximum of $10. Long-term parking costs $2 each hour, up to a daily maximum of $6.75, and a weekly maximum of $44. There is a cell phone lot for pick-ups.
