The airport is located 19 miles (31km) from central Qingdao.
Getting to the city
There are airport shuttles available, as well as taxis stationed in the underground parking section. The shuttles cost CNY 20 per fare and depart every 30 minutes from 6am to 9.25pm.
It is possible to rent a car at the airport; however, those wishing to do so will require a driver's license approved by the People's Republic of China.
Taxis are located in the underground parking garage of Terminal 2. Intial costs are around CNY 9 for standard taxis and CNY 12 for luxury vehicles.
Transfer between terminals
The two terminals may be reached on foot. Passengers with special circumstances should contact the airport authorities for assistance.
Airport facilities include an information desk, facilities for passengers with special needs, public telephones, shops, food outlets, and a business centre.
Parking is available at the airport.
